I'm STILL waiting for my Vote-by-mail ballot to arrive.

I mailed the form to request a vote-by-mail ballot last Sunday to my local Registrar of Voters office, and it still hasn't arrived yet. I'm getting anxious and nervous. Do any of ya'll know how long it usually takes the Registrar's office to process the requests?

1. call them and ask. Every county is different.

2. I did. I called Tuesday and am still waiting. I am less than 3 miles away

from the office the ballot is mailed from.

What is odd is that I've been getting my ballots for years. All the other stuff has arrived, the sample ballot, voter information guide...just not my actual ballot...the most important thing. I called again today and was told it went out Tuesday. I find this very upsetting indeed.

how many others may have had problems too. We need to keep track of this.

12. finally got mine on Monday....it took 8 days to go 3 miles!

8. It finally arrived on Thursday

So it took about 9 days after I sent in the application for my ballot to come in the mail.

(This is in San Diego, btw)

Oh, and count yet another vote for Obama!

9. My Aunt had the same problem and she went down there

and talked to them in person. She had never had any problems before and has lived 30 years in the same place.

10. I never got mine but they're sending me "another" one.

It's nice that SF still works like a small town sometimes. :)
