| What's with the sign stealing? |
|
Edited on Sun Nov-02-08 05:48 PM by goodgd_yall
Has anyone noticed even more stealing of signs in the past couple of days?
My first sign to be stolen was a No on 8 (about 3 weeks ago). That one, I'm not surprised about. (Since the local office was out of No on 8 signs, I've made a homemade one. I take it in at night now.) But last night, I had a Durston sign and even a local school board candidate sign taken. Maybe I'm targeted since I have the NO on 8 sign. I find it hard to believe the school board candidate stirs up much emotion in anyone.
I live in a town east of Sacramento, still in Sacramento County.

| 1. At this point, it's just primitive territoriality at work |

They just want to "take your stuff" because they sense someone they felt superior to ("black person") is winning. Simple minds do simple things.
If it makes you feel any better, I'm have all my signs stolen, too, and I'm in LA County.

anger and frustration and taking the signs is a way to express it. If I think of it that way--the death throes of conservatism--I don't feel so pissed off about it. :-)
