| Do I read the map correctly? San Diego county went blue? |
|
As well as Riverside and Kern? These have always been strong conservative counties. And.. with the worst housing markets..

the posting @11:37pm on the 4th shows fresno count with a 26 vote gap between Obama and McCain. which is better than the 16% gap Kerry got whooped with. I also checked my absentee status & it is not yet counted. if mine that was turned in 10-15-08 and, the county clerk has verified that it is in, has not been counted i'm thinking there may be another 50 thousand (ok maybe a little wishful thinking)to count it is very possible for fresno to go blue yet.

posting we are up by 360 votes with 56,000 left to count/verify. hopefully by the time it is all counted we can be a full % or more up, but to have a big blue bow tie put on the state i would settle for even a single vote victory

SD County went Obama 54-45 with 1% going to other candidates. MSNBC has an excellent interactive map with every county in every state. http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/3032553

This is the first I heard of that! :woohoo: :woohoo:
I'd like to believe our local Dem club earned at least a little share of the credit for that! :applause:

Now if we can just convince them to support marriage equality. We'll get there.
