2. Wouldn't it be better to protest a temple when people are there?

They're closed on Sundays because Mormons go to their Sunday services at their local wards then.

The temples are for weddings, proxy baptisms, etc, they don't host regular Sunday services.

3. I just got back.

It was fun! I don't know who decided on the date. The weather was nice and the media was there. There were some elders observing and taking pictures. I got quite a few pics. I'm still uploading them to Picasa and I will post some. It near major freeways so there was lots of honking and support from the drivers.
