Your AD (Assembly District) will be holding their delegate (to the April 24-26 CDP Convention in Sacramento) caucus on either January 10 or January 11, 2009. Check w/ your local Democratic party office or you can check http://www.cadem.org/ after the first of the year and the venue, date & time will be listed for each AD.

2009 convention is important because we get to elect a new CHAIR for the CDP - Torres is FINALLY stepping down.

Four years ago the progressive community in Orange County organized. 80% of our delegates came from the either DFA or PDA.

I am the 67th AD E-Board representative. I learned, over the weekend at the e-board meeting that as the 67th rep, I AM the convener for the caucus. As I learn more about the caucus requirements. I'll post them here.
