Special Elections?

I live in State Senate District that was represented by Mark Rigley-Thomas. Now that he is on the LA county board of Sups ... does anyone know when the special election will take place?

This would probably take place with any elections to fill seats of peeps going on to the Obama team.

1. those are set by the governor
I'm sure there's a state statute that says when they have to be held-so many days after the seat become vacant
