Fresno continues protest attacks on GAZA at Peace Corner

Candlelight Vigil:

On Friday January 2 the monthly Peace Corner demonstration was a Peace Vigil in protest of the Israel bombing of the Palestinians in Gaza. The Islamic community joined us and brought with them hundreds of supporters so that men, women and children filled every corner carrying banners and candles.

Now, as atrocities against men, women and children escalate with the invasion of Gaza, Peace Fresno, in partnership with the Islamic community, has agreed to hold a weekly Candlelight Vigil in protest of Israel’s invasion of Gaza until Israel withdraws.

WHEN: 1/9/08 Friday @ 4:00 -5:30.

WHERE: Shaw/Blackstone.

WHAT: A Candlelight Vigil will be held at the Peace Corner every Vigil to call for an end to the invasion of Gaza by Israel.
