| 'California's budget held hostage' — LA Times blasts Maldonado |
|
There was a point at which Maldonado's reform demands began to look suspiciously like his next campaign for controller rather than a moral stance for centrist pragmatism. Here's one not-very-promising campaign slogan: "I demanded reform. They wouldn't give it to me, so I sent your state over the cliff." We've seen that movie too, and we don't like the way it ends. http://www.latimes.com/news/local/la-ed-budget18-2009feb18,0,6316651.story

| 1. and yesterday Ronn Owens on KGO blasted Maldonado |
|
and today, true to form, Owens was back on in full support.
nevermind that the Supreme Court already decided that we cannot dictate to parties how they select their candidates.
nevermind that the gerrymandered districts are going away in 2012 thanks to last year's ballot initiative. we will get more moderates as a result of that.
i think i will support Republican primary challegers against these jokers.
