This opportunity comes next Tuesday evening, August 11. On that date our Congressional District 29 Representative Adam Schiff will present a Health Care Townhall from 7:00 to 8:30 pm at Alhambra Civic Center Library Community Room.

Congressman Schiff's office has said they will be allowing admittance to the Townhall on a first come basis to residents of CD 29 with proper ID. The room will hold approximately 215 people. We would like 50 to 100 residents of CD 29 to be at the Library by 5:00 pm, if not sooner. We know that opponents of reform are planning a rally at 5:30 pm. We must be sure we are not crowded out by those intending to disrupt the proceeding and that our voices are heard.

Congressman Schiff was one of the President's earliest supporters and committed to his Health Care Reform goals. By being in attendance we protect and support him in his efforts on our behalf.
