My best guy pal is heading my way and he is on the 405, headed south in the vacinity of LAX, and said that a ton of police cars passed him going north on the 405 and in Code Three.
Anyone have any info on this? Especially regarding any fire problems. I am watching the local news and see nothing except the fires are getting worse ~~ I am Palos Verdes Penn area but not in any danger. Wondering what is the cause of the huge Code Three on the 405.

Probably the fires. Haven't seen it this bad in a while. Closures, evacuations, planes flying over my head all the time, ash all over everything, big smoke plumes. It's going to get really messy when it rains too.
(I'm fine, in no danger.)
