| Radanovich is doing a healthcare town hall in Oakdale on Friday. |

I'm thinking about going to state the case for a public option, but I don't know if there's really any point to it, since Radanovich is an arch-conservative who has already stated his opposition to the proposals and since the meeting is being held in the heart of conservative California.
He's having his town hall in the middle of the afternoon on Friday, so I'd lose pay if I went to participate. Does anyone think there's any real advantage in doing so? Is it enough just to state our case, when we know it won't do anything? I'd like to go, but I'm looking for some opinions on whether or not it's worth doing so.
