Legislation awaits governor's approval to speed up process

POWAY — Two outpatient clinics in Poway that could not open for almost two months because they were waiting on state licensing officials received permission this week to treat patients.
The rehabilitation and occupational clinics at Pomerado Hospital are expected to open as early as next week, spokesman Andy Hoang said.
He credited media coverage of a visit Sept. 25 by Assemblymen Dave Jones, D-Sacramento, and Nathan Fletcher, R-San Diego, for receiving the state approval.
