I'm not a Californian, but I do have an Aunt who lives there, and I'm interested in what your state thinks of Chuck DeVore? I knew him 25 years ago when he was a brand new Army Officer. Back then he was always spouting Reagan crap and how he wanted to become a politician....Guess y'all get to live his dream if he gets lucky. It looks like he's doing ok in his Repug primary, but does he have a chance against the Dems? Just curious.

| 1. For whatever reason, the 'pukes view Boxer as vulnerable |

but most 'pukes that get elected statewide here are moderates, or at least play one on TV, like Ahh-nuld. :eyes:

He's too far to the right to get elected here, he trails Boxer by the most. Plus, he's not raising money like he should be, so he probably won't even win the primary.

Thanks for the info. I had to work with him 25 years ago, but didn't care for his politics then or now. He worshiped the Reagan throne then and now i guess.....

And even if he did, he's the least likely to beat Boxer. The others, though, probably do have a shot. Barbara has to be the favorite but she has pretty high negatives and isn't nearly as popular as her supporters like to think. I have many friends who are die-hard Democrats but are at best ambivalent about Boxer.
