They stole the presidency twice. They stole the governors office in California. They stole several congressional seats in Texas....
After the Democrats did nothing in 2000 and apparently will do nothing again in 2004 they know that the votes are unimportant.

...they also got the "strong mayor" initiative on the ballot and passed, however, they were assuming that Dick Murphy would win. Donna was on AAR the other day, saying that she did not even have winning the race on her agenda this year. She simply wanted some name recognition for two years down the road.

They were expecting that, in 1997, Bob Dole would be the one using it, with a Repuke-controlled House and Senate.
Whoops, Clinton won re-election, and challenges were made to the constitutionality of it and got it overturned. Surprise, surprise.
