I really enjoyed her because at that (pre-AAR) time there was NOBODY criticizing the Bush family et al -- it was only RW wacko stuff, always struck me so weird in our very liberal city. She and Michael Jackson (not THAT Michael Jackson!) were the only chat shows I could deal with.

I do catch the 6 - 7 a.m. hour of Morning Sedition by streaming, they used to rerun that same hour at 8 anyhow which is why I didn't listen to it in the car much.

According to AAR Web site MS has a large line-up of upcoming guests. Apparently some stations are and will be pre-empting MS, but it looks like AAR will still be carrying them.

I, too, love Mark and Marc. They are very classy.

I time-shift their program OGG-stream every day via RSS. Couldn't stand it if they went away.

Stephanie Miller returns to the air

Stephanie Miller is returning to local radio. Starting May 2, she will do 6-9 a.m. weekdays on Progressive Talk KTLK/1150 AM.

Miller was a talk host on KFI/640 AM in the mid-'90s. There weren't that many women talkers then, and she described the challenge as "trying to break into the boys' club."

KTLK sees Miller as a key way for the station to put its stamp on the L.A.-Orange County market. Miller will be the second KTLK personality who is not part of the liberal Air America talk format that dominates the rest of the station's timeslots. The other is Ed Schultz, noon-3 p.m.

In recent years, Miller has focused on TV, appearing as a liberal commentator on talk shows and hosting Oxygen cable's "I've Got a Secret."

I heard that in SanFran, they were putting Jerry Springer into the time slot that Mark and Marc used to have.. and moving M & M to 3-6 AM

They pull people in with the personalities who have been breaking ground, then they put their own lineup on. Probably for less money and maybe more local advertising revenue. I still like the AAR people best.

Does she do anything of substance? All I heard was mediocre comedy. M and M did did great interviews and great comedy.

I want Marc and Mark back on in their old time slot. DAMMIT!!! Who the hell listens to the radio in the middle of the night? Put her there.

...more of Morning Sedition than in its old time slot since I'm usually pretty busy from 7 - 9 and my kids take over the kitchen & car radio during that time.

However one possible solution is if you have a tape deck or recordable CD type thingee with a timer on it, you can record it in the morning and listen in the car?
