If the TABOR fix cures budget ills, the Democrats will be tough to beat in 2006. We could maintain the majority in both state houses, hold the 3rd CD, which is vulnerable, and take the 7th and maybe even the 4th, possibly the Governor's mansion as well. Depending on candidate of course. But, the compromise with Owens actually may help the Democrats and if it passes in November, the Democrats will be really tough to beat. We need to identify our candidates sooner rather than later for several key offices, such as the Governorship and the 7th CD. And we need to campaign or do whatever to make sure these Democratic TABOR initiatives go through.
