That really pissed me off.
On Friday a friend of mine who is a social worker explained to me how his office will lose 47% of its funding if C and D don't pass. He said this will probably put a lot of the people he helps out on the streets.
I really hope they pass, but I am a little skeptical knowing how much effort is being put into spinning the issue into a tax increase. It's disturbing to me that so muh money from out of state is being put into this.

But then I live in SE Denver, so my perceptions may also be liberally skewed. Yes, the opponents are in overdrive, but proponents are also making a strong showing. I'm seeing a lot more pro-C&D tv ads now than I'm seeing anti-C&D. I also heard a great local NPR where someone (I can't remember who) debated with that nutcase John Andrews, and Andrews came off sounding condescending and shifty. But then, he always strikes me like that. LOL.
