| 4. D = destruction of the environment. Roads need materials. |
|
Where do you think they'll get the materials to build the roads?
Where will they get the gas for the cars to run on those roads? ANWAR.
If you support D, you cannot be a Progressive.
What happened to pay-as-you-go? D is a huge debt for our children.
D should also be called the Leave no Developer Behind Act.
I'm no fan of the truly insane people running these ads, but one ad is right, the people supporting D hope to have their pockets lined with money as they destroy the state of Colorado.
True Coloradoans and true Progressives vote no on D.

| 6. Well, I think you misunderstand D |
|
And I know you don't live in Colorado, so don't go spouting off uninformed informations.

I apologize...
Let me explain....
I, like you, am a true-blue Coloradan, and I decided to re-read the Referendum D before I went out to vote, and I realized you were right. Sometimes I shoot off the hip, so i regretfully apologize for my actions yesterday and DO appreciate that you made me re-evaluate the Referendum and I decided to vote no. I'm very glad that it was defeated.
Not sure why my own State Senator was wholeheartedly endorsing it, and he's a very progressive senator (It's Ken Gordon), but I had to e-mail him last night and told him I voted for C, but not D, and stated that the developers would destroy the Front Range if it was approved and made no sense to me. The majestic beauty of Colorado is what I really care about.
Hopefully you'll forgive me.
Salute...

| 7. Are you the person who warned me about the "road building lobby"? |
|
Because if you are, I'll tell you; the toll road lobby is much worse and will take much worse care of the environment. The reason to worry is because those in opposition to ref D support toll roads as a panacea for all our transportation ills. The question is not about roads or no roads, the question is about public and private roads.
Defeating D is a victory for toll roads. Is that what you want?
