There's the Wheat Ridge Center on Kipling very near 38th. You can buy a pass for one visit at a time if you want even if you aren't a resident of WR. Pool, gym, exercise machines, dance studio, racket ball. They have two pools, sauna and steam room as well as a hot tub.
Edit: And a climbing wall! :hi:

I do they do month to month? I would hate to sign up for a year knowing this gym that is going to open will be a three minute walk.

I re-read your post. That is a long bus ride to the gym, but the time I got there, I wouldn't feel like working out anymore.

But they do have packages that you can buy for so many visits for one money and to be used within a year. A nice place if you can get there.
