But, Colin McEnroe on the radio said that Bush was originally going to come to Stamford, but was quietly asked by people associated with Chris Shays to go to Bridgeport instead, since Stamford is more "in play" than reliably blue Bridgeport... and, as Colin said, "Bush is radioactive right now"
