1. I hear this is a problem all over!

My sister in the Twin Cities had 2 stolen now she takes hers in at night and that seems to be working. I have 14 of them in my trunk that I'm passing out in my small town. (I got them out of the DNC office not other peoples yards) According to the gentleman I spoke to there disproportional number of Kerry signs are stolen in our area!

2. I am wondering if Kerry signs wont be in a neighborhood garage sale.

Repugs know how valuable they are. That is why the Chimp n Cheney signs are being left untouched.

Either that or they are behaving like jerks.

3. Doesn't seem to be a problem in Central CT. My hometown of

Newington is littered with Kerry/Edwards signs. In my 35+ years in the area I have never seen so many signs. I have seen about two * signs in my old town. Even the neighboring, more republican town of Wethersfield has a ton of K/E signs and only a couple of * signs. I now look forward to visiting my mom and going to the grocery. I live in Hartford, no signs, but it always goes Dem, so really no need for them!

7. No one has taken our signs but

a neighbor with * stickers all over his car keeps parking in front of them.

4. This is a problem here near Chicago too

I had my sign stolen. So now I take it home every night and put it back out in the morning.

5. missing again

The house of the former First Selectwoman, who died a few months ago, was full of Democratic signs, including Kerry Edwards. they were all stolen about 5 days ago, then replaced about 2 days ago. On my way to work Tuesday morning, October 19, they were all missing AGAIN. All the Bush signs in the same part of the road are still standing.

I sent away for 10 signs yesterday and I hope I get them soon. I'm going to set mine up again and give them to others who have had theirs stolen.

This section of Road is Rt 219 near Peoples forest on the way over the big reservior dam road up here.

Anybody have any surveilance or law enforcement tips? I'm thinking of flood lights for my new signs.
