Bysiewciz loses in CT Supreme Court
Looks like Jepsen will be the Atty Gen. candidate now.

I liked Susan for the gubernatiorial spot and thought she made a bad decision to go for Atty General.

What a disaster Tuesday was for CT Dems

1. It was a unanimous decision by the Court too, wasn't it?

7 - 0 I heard?

Well, I guess it's on to other things for her now.
Maybe she can actually start a real law practice and come back after she's gotten her required experience.

2. Yes, it was unanimous
She could run for her current office or for the US Senate seat or governor. But its so late in the game......

3. The 7-0 decision against her has damaged her political teflon
I like Susan B. a lot but I think she's done for now. Going back to run for Sec. of State will be seen in the same light as Specter turning Dem to save his political career. If the court decision was done in early April, then she could have made the switch back to Sec. of State, but with a few days before the State Convention, a switch now would be seen as opportunism.

If Lamont wins the governorship, maybe she can work in his "cabinet" as a way to redeem herself.

4. I like her ,too but htink she made a bad decision to switch
from the gubernatorial race to AG. She would have made a good governor, IMO. Good idea about a cabinet position for her. If Malloy wins, couldn't she also get appointed by him ? Or is there bad blood there?

The convention should be quite interesting, Larkspur.

5. I don't know what Susan B's relationship is with Malloy
I assume she could work in his Admin too if she wants.

Course, she could just go back and practice law for a while, save her money and then run for Lieberman's seat in 2012.

With Blumenthal taking his lumps over Vietnam and the Bysiewicz ruling.
