So, will Malloy radically make over the state government?

So, will Malloy radically make over the state government?
With a $3.5 billion budget shortfall, there is no way balancing the budget can be accomplished by cutting spending and tweaking the tax rates. It will likely take wholesale changes to the way the state does business - consolidation of state agencies, regionalization of some services, etc. Will the normally timid Democrats in the legislature be emboldened now that we have a Democrat in the State House for the first time in 20 years? Will we get real improvements to the transportation infrastructure in the state?

Any predictions?

1. I really don't know but since I voted for him I would hope he would do
something revolutionary. I like him and think he has a big heart for his job, that he's open to fresh ideas and trying new things. He certainly has a lot of energy...
