In our county:
At the Leon County Courthouse, voters began arriving in the pre-dawn hours and formed a long line for the last day in the county of early voting.
The last voter made it through the doors at 7:40 p.m. this evening and when all the sites were tallied, 42,461 voters had cast their votes early in Leon County. To date, an additional 24,130 voters have returned their absentee ballot to the Supervisor of Elections Office. The combination of absentee and early voting represents 38.15% of the 174,544 total eligible voters in Leon County.
