When will tourism come back to the Gulf Coast?

I don't mean to be insensitive, but I know how important tourism is to the Florida economy. How long do you think it will take to rebuild the hotels and resorts? Were a lot of "Mom & Pop" motels destroyed? What about landscaping? I'm guessing it takes a long time to grow those big palm trees. Or are there sources for transplanting.

My heart goes out to all the residents of Florida and I'm looking forward to visiting once again.

things will be back to normal soon. We are a pretty tough group, that's why we are called "crackers"!!! Seriously, tourists have been coming here since 1519 so give it a few weeks.
