Florida Congressman Alan Grayson introduced HR 4789 - Medicare You Can Buy Into Act on Tuesday, March 9, 2010. For those of us that were wondering what a public option would look like - this is it and I'm pretty impressed. If we are going to be mandated to purchase health insurance, then I hope we have an option to buy into Medicare, at cost, like this bill proposes. HR 4789 already has 81 sponsors (including Grayson and a petition with over 37,000 signatures.) Please let others know about HR 4789 - www.WeWantMedicare.org - Demand a vote on the public option.
