Metro Atlanta DU Meetup with a Purpose

I have been giving this a lot of thought. We all spend a good bit of time on DU talking about the mess our country is in. While that helps us all remain sane, we are really missing an opportunity to use our connections here to do something.

I am interested in having a DU meetup to plan actions to solve some of the problems we discuss here. I would like to get a group together July 28th or 29th to talk, brainstorm, and plan some constructive actions we can take.

We can meet at a restaurant, or do a potluck at a park or someone's house. Whatever we decide will be okay with me. I just feel we really need to start putting our brains together to actively DO something.

What do you all think? Anyone game?
