Any DC Obamates Out There??? HH THIS THURSDAY

As the website is still experiencing technical difficulties that prevent me from posting an event as of yet, I'm scouting out potential Obamates directly! I don't want to e-mail/ bother your whole group, as I'm sure many don't work in D.C., but if there's any way for you to forward this to those that might be interested, that would be great.

I believe that Barack Obama is a born leader and a visionary innovator of necessary change in our country and our world. I am planning the

1st D.C. Obamate Happy Hour this Thursday February 15th- 6:30pm at Aria Trattoria- Federal Triangle Metro (Orange & Blue Lines).

The D.C. Obamates will be a social group for anyone who wants to meet up in the Federal Triangle area with others interested in offering non-fundraising support to the Barack Obama campaign.

Anyone interested should join the group- AAAA D.C. Obamates AAAA - it will then be an easy matter to guage participation for a reservation, keep people updated, and share any other information relevant to non-fundraising mechanisms for supporting Obama in D.C.

Everyone should feel free to invite friends to join the group, or to post any other info., events, or thoughts they may have.

As Gov't employees are subject to the Hatch Act, absolutely NO pledges, donations, or fundraising will occur!
