I'll be in Chicago for a convention b/w Sept. 1 and Sept. 5 (Regrettably, this is why I can't come to NYC for the RNC). I'll be downtown, and would be interested in meeting any DUer who would be interested in a get together.

1. I don't live in Chicago, but I was just there

for a wedding and it's a very Kerry friendly town. I saw Kerry buttons, stickers, bumper stickers and campaingners everywhere (and a number of the same for Obama). I saw ONE Bush/Cheney bumper sticker on the way back to O'Hare. That's it.

You should have no problem finding like minded people! Good Luck!

I could not attend. I got up too late in the morning after having an exhausting weekend at the convention, and by then it was checkout time and I had to head to the subway for O'Hare.
