But, the idea that, in any two people, the desire to join lives in a long-term, monogomous, relationship is purely hedonistic unless procreation is involved is simply ridiculous. Human motivations are much more complex than that and a "Ph.D." from Harvard should be ashamed of himself for implying that they aren't. Once you began to make the equation of "love" and "hedonism" then you no longer have any values left, at all (much less "family" ones).

How dare they seek self-fulfilment, contentment and satisfaction! THAT is why there should be a constitutional amendment banning gay marriage, because those gays will just go off and use their organs for pleasure!
