I was watching WIFR, Channel 23 out of Rockford this morning. It is a CBS Station.

The weatherman, of all people, said that Dan Rather was "out tricking little old ladies into saying bad things about Bush."

I called the station and complained. I e-mailed the program, too.

I am thinking about e-mailing Dan Rather and telling him what one person said at one of their affiliates.

Did anyone else hear this crap?

And CH. 23 was always a very lame operation IMHO. But, wow, I can't believe that shit. I would complain loudly. I live in Springfield now and one of our local TV stations is a Sinclair station. I constantly complain to them about Mark Hyman's "commentaries". Its pretty bad when even local TV has come under the spell of the VRWC.

Our ABC affiliate here in Dallas has an asshole commentator who will throw in snarky comments from time to time.

I've started keeping paper and pen next to my little Big Lots bathroom TV to note whenever he says something so I can complain right away. And I want a record of whatever we hear and when.

Show this asshole we mean business.

5. I spoke to the news director of Channel 23 a few minutes ago.

He did take my complaint seriously.

He said he thought the remarks were inappropriate. He will discuss them with the offending weather man tomorrow.

I think it pays to write, complain, call, e-mail when they show their bias.

You're right. They need to be made aware that not everyone in Rockford (my hometown) is a wingnut and crap like that is way over the line. Is this guy auditioning to be the Faux News weathercaster?
