ever since he instructed the GOP to get off is back, and that his gameplan was to harass, insult, and sling mud each and every day, notice how the press has tied of Poor Alan and quit covering him?

Tiresome and bizarre - well, a few hurricanes and hundreds of silly reporters going all high-drama by standing in high winds to report the news 24/7 did wonders for crushing post convention coverage too.
