Fahrenheit 9/11 not showing in Springfield,IL..

This doesn't surprise me. I was in Springfield visiting my family over Memorial Day. I really wanted to see the Day After Tomorrow but it was showing at only ONE place...the drive in (yes Springfield, IL still has a drive in). Considering the weather we had that weekend I opted out of being outdoors for a movie.

The closest town to Springfield where F9/11 will be is Decatur. Go figure.

I wish I could say things were better in St Louis, but at this time it's not scheduled for St Louis either.

1. I live in Springfield and I didn't even know that it wasn't showing here.

That is a bummer. I have family in Decatur so I guess I will have to go watch it with them. :shrug:

I guess I should't be surprised but considering we are the states capitol, it should be a "no brainer" that it plays here.

I'm sure it will be showing at the Lagoon or the Uptown theater here, but they are not listed on that search engine.

5. Thank goodness it's playing in my town.

My car doesn't do road trips. It's really only showing in seven communities in Illinois? I find that hard to believe.
