The Champaign County Democrats' annual Fall Picnic is this weekend!

Sunday, Sept. 18
12-3pm
Eisner Park, Champaign
(across the street from Huber's in the 1300 block of W. Church)

Don't miss the Elected Dems vs. College Dems softball game starting at noon! Food will be served afterwards, around 1pm.

Lee Roberts will be cooking BBQ. Charlene Stevens is coordinating the rest of the food -- if you can bring a side dish/salad/dessert to share, please call Charlene at 352-3953.

I'm wondering how safe THAT is gonna be... :evilgrin:

Lee is a hell of a cook, and frankly, this kind of stuff is a lot more fun than the dinners (with all the "speechifyin" if is a stone bitch to try and stay sober.) I urge anyone that can manage it to come on out.

Kevsand and I will be there with Material Girl. I dunno yet what side dish I'm making, but I'll guarantee that I'm taking my favorite softball bat along.
