Per the United for Peace and Justice events calendar and the anti-war vigil listings of the American Friends Service Committee and Sojourners Magazine these were cities that had protests scheduled in your state.

INDIANA: Bloomington, Cromwell, Ft. Wayne, Gary, Granger, Goshen, Indianapolis, Lafayette, Mishawaka, Muncie, North Manchester, Notre Dame, South Bend, Terre Haute, Washington

I attended a Protest March in Minneapolis, MN. One of several and I know we had 1,500 - which the media reported as "over 1,000" and provided terrible pictures.

6. I am sorry that you got the impression

that I was one of these wonderful sisters. My daughter is thinking about becoming a nun and this is one of the two convents that she is considering. She was there for the weekend and she told me about their prayer vigil. Both of the convents that she is considering were anti-war (at least this war) from the very beginning. They have consistently prayed for both peace and the protection of the innocent Iraqis that have been pawns of both this administration and certain Islamic groups that have used the war to further their own agendas of terror and retribution against the West.

7. My mistake, but I'm so glad.

Honestly, I've been struggling with my faith in a world where this Nation Under God feels it can go out and kill in my name and in GOD's and a host of other ungodly things this nation is calling moral values.

Reading the philosophy of the Benedictines has filled me with hope and I may just have to see about talking to them myself a bit.

So it was all a Divine mistake, meant to happen.

2. Good attendence at the Portland, OR protest, and the media

actually covered it pretty well. Was the lead off story with good pics on the local TV news programs. Thanks God I live in a blue state.

Was cold, but good. The call for "revolution" was a bit much in my opinion, although I know what was meant and the sentiment behind it (we just need to be careful with our language until we can get the media at least balanced again). Best parts were the woman who spoke who's son is in Iraq and George Shrub, the world's only *known* singing CIA agent (very very funny).

Definitely worth being there, and plan to be there next year and every year until this war is over.

9. I was in Indy,

on 3/19. I rode there along with 4 others from Fort Wayne. Dave Lambert, who drove for us, also spoke at the rally. The day before we had a rally in Ft. Wayne, with about 30 in attendance.
