I wrote a web mail to Evan Bayh about the Downing Street memo

I will admit that my lack of respect for Bayh showed in the first paragraph when I started talking about his privileged life and comparing him to his dad, particularly when his dad was among the first to oppose the war in Vietnam.

On my second paragraph I mentioned the Downing Street memo and what it meant, Bush and Blair conspired to attack Iraq and lie about WMD in early 2002. I also mentioned the efforts my Congressman John Conyers to get the White House and the Pentagon to answer the troubling questions raised by the memo.

I concluded my challenging Evan Bayh to take a stand in view of all the GIs that have died or being seriously wounded on account of Bush's lies.

I expect a response by letter, I will post it when (and if) and get a response from Bayh, or a visit by the SWAT team.

I wrote him yesterday, mentioning that the president had failed to answer Conyers' questions about the Downing Street Minutes, and asked him to add his voice to the request.

Speaking of Senators, we should harass Lugar at every public appearance he makes for being such a rubber stamp for Bush. Lugar's carefully cultivated public persona of independence flies in the face of his declared desire to vote for Bolton because "the President wants him."
