Stop The Amendment 2/9/06 - "Our Families Count!" Rally
Stop The Amendment 2/9/06 - "Our Families Count!" Rally

WHAT: "Our Families Count" Rally

WHEN: Thursday, Feb. 9, 2006 1 - 3PM

WHERE: Indiana Statehouse North Atrium (200 W. Washington St., Indianapolis)

WHO: Indiana Equality

WHY: Our families are not second-class! The state shouldn't teach that they are!

Since the anti-marriage constitutional amendment won't be debated again until next year,
fundamentalist lawmakers are introducing other bills aimed at forcing LGBT families back
into the closets of shame and denial.

For example, in the House, two bills would change Indiana law to declare that married
heterosexual relationships are preferred, encouraged, and supported over any other
domestic relationships, implying that LGBT families and individuals are second class
citizens.

Stand up and let your family be counted! Join Indiana Equality at the Statehouse for the
"Our Families Count!" rally February 9.

Representatives from many area groups will be on hand. Guest speakers will start at 1:30!
We have many great speakers lined up. You won't want to miss this historic rally for
equality!
