Check out Moveon.org, you can sign up to be on the list to get tickets (maybe).

Hancher, Carver arena, the Student Union? Inquiring minds need to know.

I'm hoping Carver since it's the largest venue.

The Iowa City Press-Citizen is saying Hancher, but it's not official.

| 8. Hancher is a GREAT venue! |
|
if you've never been, go, The acoustics are wonderful. Many years ago, my ex wife and I, and some others went to Hancher to see... wait for it... Commander Cody and The Lost Planet Airmen. This is a very strange band to be at Hancher, as it hosts a number of classical shows and plays. The acoustics blew us away. It was actually better than listening on an ass kicking stereo. Nearly perfect sound. As kind of a side note, The Commander and the boys came out in tuxedos and tails and tennis shoes. You gotta love a sense of humor.

I agree, it will be a great place to have the concert. Might be a little harder to get tickets, but I'm on the Moveon list, so maybe that will help.

got a heater in my truck and its off to the rodeo! Ihope I can afford the tickets when we do get the venue. James and the chicks should be fun and for a good cause. I am torn whether to give my money to this or the local guys like Dave Franker, Tom Feigen and Mike Owen.
