ACTION! Grassley + Health Care Reform

Both IA Senators, Grassley and Harkin, are key players in the Health Care Reform (HCR) game, sitting on the Finance and HELP (Health, Education, Labor & Pensions) committees, respectively.

At the moment, we need to keep Grassely in check; he is pushing another member of the Finance committee, Max Baucus (D-MT), for language in health care reform legislation that would eliminate coverage for abortion services, according to a coalition of religious groups that support abortion rights.

PUT THE PRESSURE ON: call or write a letter (yes, our Senator does not email, though we all know he does twitter) to one or all of Chuck's offices...

1. Might I add write a letter to the editor of a large city paper near you

and the Des Moines Register. Also the small town paper where you live if applicable.
We know he is reading them as his staff has responded to a couple.
Letters to the editor really help inform the public about Grassley's truly lousy performance for Iowans.
