A Good Old-Fashioned Democratic Family Picnic
July 29th -- 1 to 9 p.m. -- Ushers Ferry Historic Village

Not sure who the primary speaker will be yet, although there are four 'big names' still considering it. If no one agrees to come, I'll sing. (That's a joke... and possibly a threat... LOL!!)

The event itself will be FREE!! Lots of games for the kids, snocones, horseshoes, tours of Ushers Ferry, popcorn, & fun in the sun. There is a cost for the meal that will be served at 5 p.m. ($5 adults, $3 for kids under 12), but you don't have to eat with us if you don't want to or can't.

I'm really putting myself out on a limb by making this a free event, but my hope is that it will be a growth catalyst for the Democratic Party (read: we'll get some new people to come out and see what we're all about).

I'm also still searching for volunteers to help run the kiddie games! (hint-hint... PM me if you're willing to help out)
