I'm going to go nuts before November, listening to Nussle's ads. He wants to clean up the corruption in Iowa. Why the heck didn't he try to clean up the corruption in Washington?
Oh, never mind. He's a freakin' hypocrite!

| 1. This is how Nussle operates |
|
He finds HIS biggest weakness and attacks his opponent on it - it puts his opponent on the defensive (saying things like "Why the heck didn't he try to clean up the corruption in Washington") and then complains that he was attacked and his opponent's only plan is to jump all over poor Jim Nussle rather than try to fix the problem.
What I find REALLY good for Culver is that Nussle has requested five debates. For the last several campaign cycles Nussle has dodged debating his challengers (because he was always ahead). Now he wants debates??? Must not be ahead anymore!!!! :7

| 4. Nussle is rather emetic, isn't he? |
|
He is also so self-satirizing it's hard to make fun of him. If people were only stationary targets this might work but Nussle tends to change positions a lot so it's hard to come up with good material. The point, you see, is that ridicule and satire are excellent weapons against those people.

| 7. Making a show of "wanting debates" and actually having them |
|
are two different things. I suspect DeficitJim to come up with some bullshit reason to avoid any real debate and blame it on Culver. Then cry to the press about how he isn't being treated right. I only say this because this is a ploy used by EVERY FUCKING REPUBLICAN ON THIS PLANET. (karlrovehandbook, page 12)

| 8. Hey, Steve King did that! |
|
Joyce Schulte was standing to his right before a debate, meeting and greeting people, and she said, "This'll be the only time he's to the left of me on anything." Obviously it was said in humor. King apparently didn't appreciate the humor, walked out, didn't come back for the debate, and didn't show up at a TV appearance with Schulte later that evening.
