GLBT Marriage debate KSU

Dear friends,
I wish to let you all know that on April 5th, 2006 at 7:00 pm at Kansas
State University, Prof. Bill Rich will moderate a debate regarding the
Kansas Marriage Amendment.
Mr. Joel Oster, Sr. Counsel for the Alliance Defense Fund will defend the
amendment. I will oppose it. We are fortunate to have Professor Rich as the
moderator, he is a fair minded, bright and articulate man. He will insure
that both debaters stick to the issue and answer the questions.
It is my hope that we have a significant number of our people present. We
need to remember that at these types of events the opposition usually comes
early and takes over most of the seats creating a false impression on the
media and the public that they represent the majority.

He is a good friend, ex neighbor and my compadre as the Topeka KEC chapter representative on the state board of KEC.

I was just posting a note he sent to us on the KEC board so that everyone might have a chance to go see him. I guarantee it will be a great debate.
