Slidell

Was there an organized evacuation of Slidell? If so, where were the people taken? I have an elderly friend there and I am very worried about her safety. If anybody knows anything about Slidell, please post.

1. Slidell should have been evacuated. It is cut off from N.O. now

I-10 connecting it to New Orleans is destroyed.

There should have been evacuated along with N.O. before the hurricane.

It was hit pretty bad.
