what parish is xavier university in?

My cousin was trapped in a dorm there as of last night. She and my aunt were text-messaging and lost contact last night. I'm looking for information about open roads etc to help my Aunt.

Any help is appreciated~!

1. I googled, it looks like it is in New Orleans.

But what part, I don't have a clue. Good luck to your cousin. Hopefully the rescue crews know there are students in the dorms.

It's the athletic department office address. To answer the original question, the school is in Orleans parish.

6. Update: my cousin is okay

She was able to contact my aunt today. Rescuers have relocated her group to another dorm at Xavier U. on higher ground, have resupplied them with food and water, and plan to evacuate them to Texas in a few days.
