isn't this the Louisiana forum? I thought it was.

Please direct me if I've goofed, I'm really beyond being able to sort much out.

Thanks!

www.nola.com

They have a blog there. Everything is sorted by Parish (county). There are a lot of posts and I believe there is an area for the Marigny Triangle.

Post your question there.

Good luck and I hope he's ok.

Take care.

11. Try This Number: 866-217-6255
If he had a phone number, you can try that. It's an "Emergency Voicemail" set up by Air America. Either way, I will keep my eye open here in Houston.

Also, please let people know about the Emergency Voicemail system so that everyone who has been displaced can call in.

Here's the flyer I'm passing out in Houston:

***
CONNECT WITH AIR AMERICA RADIO'S PUBLIC VOICEMAIL

1. CALL 1-866-217-6255
2. ENTER YOUR USUAL PHONE NUMBER
3. LEAVE A MESSAGE STATING HOW YOU ARE AND WHERE YOU ARE

People who know your usual phone number can then call the number above and hear your message. You can also enter their phone numbers to find out if they have left a message in the Air Amercia Emergency Voicemail System. Spread the word to help everyone find their loved ones! 1-866-217-6255

13. Try this link....
I posted this yesterday in the Texas forum. You might also want to ask about your friend there.

Lots of us are in and out of evacuation centers around Texas and there are lists posted.

Good luck to you and God be with him.

14. Thank you all.
Seeing your posts and suggestions means so very much.

I have located someone else, in the USA (I'm in Australia) who is looking for him, so there is a little support now. I will be using all the suggestions given here.

Again, thank you all for such kindness.
