you there at the Mazant Street party? So was I!! I think she's having another one on 7/18 -- I'd love to meet you and any other local DUers. I was the Mom there with the 3 kids.

I was busy posting on DU on June 28th oblivious of the party. I was trying to participate through the MoveOn website and noticed at least 6 conference calls/parties in New Orleans. You are saying that there will be another Mazant St party on the 18th? I thought that Moore said during the conference call that the next one will be on the 11th?

they are having a voter registration thing. it's not really a party but it's about getting information about how to sign people up to vote. I'll be there on the 18th too. We should coordinate and let each other know what we'll be wearing or something so we can meet up. I know the party organizer has scheduled a meet and greet time for this party so that people will have more time to get to know each other.

5. It doesn't seem that the Mazant street party is listed

But i got an email from the host and she claimed that she would be hosting this...i think. I'll check that email at home and get back to y'all.

We will still be holding a meeting at 906 Mazant on Sunday July 11th to participate in the MoveOn.org voter registration call people campaign, combined with a discussion of how to go about organizing and actualizing such events, as well as a discussion of other methods of voter registration outreach that may be more appropriate for New Orleans than cold-calling. location on the moveon site? I'll email andrea at the email address and find out if she's having it.

Thanks FB. I have no idea of what I'll be wearing that night, but my 3 kids will be with me. My son, Aaron, at the last event he helped with the visuals. (He was reading over my shoulder and asked that I mentioned this.) :-)

I went to the phone party but I'm pretty sure you werent' there, I didn't see any kids. My husband and I will probably be bringing our nephew to the OutFoxed party on the 18th. The nephew is 11 and I'll likely be wearing my democratic donkey t-shirt. I spoke with Andrea last night and she said she's gonna preview the film and make sure it's "kid safe". We also discussed using the other side of her yard as a play area for kids. She said she'd see if there was enough response then we may set up somehting for the kids. So if she sends out an email asking about your interest in activities for children be sure to respond. I'm not sure how old yours are but I'm pretty sure the movie will be okay for our 11 year old nephew, so he may just have to sit through it, or bring his gameboy or something.

yesterday. How did things go? We will be there on the 18th though. My oldest son is 12 so your nephew and him could hang out together. And I'll be sure to respond if Andrea sends out an email. See ya Sunday!
