Did Your Senators Vote to
Save Mammograms?
The vote that took place was on a process called cloture. Before Senators can have a final vote on a bill, they must pass a motion that cuts off debate and discussion on the bill. That “cloture motion” requires 60 votes.
If your U.S. Senators voted NO on cloture for S. 1955, then they supported our position and voted to save mammograms and other cancer screenings.
Senators who voted yes on cloture allowed this devastating bill to move closer to becoming law.
We are still updating the roll call vote. Please check back later tonight or tomorrow if there is not a yes or no by your senator.
