Sergeant Caleb Paul Wells of the 256th Military Intelligence Company and Specialist Junious Rayfield Buchanan of the 205th Engineer Battalion were charged after the National Guard investigated a complaint received on August 12. The two guardsmen are accused of taking money out of the wallets from two individuals during a traffic stop. During the course of the investigation, the two soldiers confessed to committing the crime, according to a press release distributed today by the Louisiana National Guard.
