Mary Landrieu calls Senate R's "Boneheads". GOOD!!

You Louisianans should be proud as hell of your Senator Mary Landrieu for saying "enough is enough!" to the sickening Senate R's right on the Senate floor. A couple of their leadership ranted for half an hour a day or two ago about how Dems were weak on terrorism (their fall political mantra), and she stepped up and said it was their "wrongheaded and boneheaded leadership" that was to blame for our national security problems. Oh, it was wonderful! Search the internet and watch the video of it. She did Louisiana, Dems, and AMERICA proud! Way to go Mary!! Now let's follow her example and get out there this fall and kick some more Republican butt!! - RBinMaine

Yes, she's moderate and I think maybe too quick to "work" with R's sometimes, but this was a good one, and it was an example for the rest of the D's. I actually phoned her Senate offices and left messages thanking her for this and urging her to stand by it. She should stand by every single word and not even think about apologizing or backing away from it. And we should be supporting her and encouraging her and all of our Dems in Congress to be TOUGH. Way to go Mary!!
