The long-awaited KamaAina Festival will be taking place in New Orleans (hotel yet to be determined) from Jan. 4-13. As a former resident, I'm not so much in need of tips on what to do, where to eat, etc., as I am looking for ways in which I can put my talents to use (they run more toward planning than actual gutting and mucking).

Three and a half weeks. Less than a month! :bounce:

May I suggest that spending money, (drinking beer, dining out, staying in a hotel, buying tacking souvenirs) helps immensely. Whatever you do will be greatly appreciated. Maybe you will go home with new Saints Jerseys.

2. Update: Official hotel of KamaAina Festival announced

it is the Monteleone, where Mom and I managed to snag separate deals covering both legs of the trip (she returns to NYC on the 9th, leaving me most of that week to get sucked back in :tinfoilhat: ) Y'all should have no trouble finding a friendly public establishment nearby for meetups if and when desired, plus I do have the new RTA map memorized :-)
